Mr. Arunachalam is an avid soccer and cricket player who excels on the field. As the cricket team founder and captain, he provided leadership and mentorship, and achieved plaudits as player-of-the-match several times. He also designed and coded a portal that enabled cricket coaches to accurately track players' stats in real time. He also founded and led the popular Debate Club on campus and helped instill skills of spirited, balanced discussion on diverse topics.

Adithan Arunachalam has a strong interest in political science and the way disinformation is applied as a political tactic within a post-truth era. He has authored essays on wide-ranging topics such as Utilitarian moral philosophy and the Tamil resistance to Indian linguistic homogeneity.
